David Hanson is a co-founder of Pine Harbor Advisors, an independent financial planning firm with offices in South Portland and Augusta, Maine. He provides personalized financial planning and strategies, building lasting relationships rooted in trust, communication, and service.
David began his career at a large wirehouse firm before moving to a Boston-based mutual fund company, where he partnered with financial advisors across the United States as an account manager. These experiences gave him a broad perspective on financial strategies and strengthened his ability to serve clients with both technical knowledge and practical insight.
A native of Portland, Maine, David graduated from Cheverus High School. He then earned his bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University in New York. David is deeply connected to his community, and he serves on multiple nonprofit boards and investment committees. David lives in Falmouth with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, playing golf, traveling, and staying connected with friends.
